Breeding: A mouthbrooder that will lay up to 60 eggs. Set temperature between 25 and 28 degrees. After spawning the female cares for eggs and fry.
Comments: A very popular African Rift Lake Cichlid. They are very aggressive and will even show aggression towards their own kind. Keep one male to several females if keeping more than one in an aquarium.
